Details of Motorola’s upcoming flagship smartphone have surfaced online just days before its official unveiling.
The Motorola Signature is expected to be launched soon across multiple markets, including India. Ahead of the announcement, a fresh leak by noted tipster Evan Blass has revealed the full specifications of the device, offering a clear picture of what Motorola’s next premium phone will bring.
According to the leak, the Motorola Signature will feature a 6.8 inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels. The screen is said to deliver a pixel density of 446 ppi, a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, and a peak brightness of 6200 nits. It will support Dolby Vision and HDR10 plus, include an in display fingerprint sensor, and be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It is expected to come with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, along with 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage options. The phone will pack a 5200 mAh battery that supports 90 W TurboPower wired charging, 50 W TurboPower wireless charging, and 10 W and 5 W reverse wireless and wired charging. The charger is said to be included in the retail box.
On the camera front, the Motorola Signature will feature a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 500 front camera. At the rear, it will house a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 828 primary sensor, paired with a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera with autofocus and a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 600 periscope telephoto lens. The telephoto camera is expected to offer 3 x optical zoom and up to 100 x digital zoom. Video capabilities include 8K Dolby Vision recording at 30 fps and 4K Dolby Vision recording at 60 fps and 30 fps.
A key highlight of the Motorola Signature is its software promise. The device is expected to ship with Android 16 and will be Motorola’s first phone to receive up to 7 years of OS upgrades and security patches. It is likely to run Hello UX on top.
Additional features include dual speakers, eSIM support, Wi Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB C port. In terms of build, the phone will come with an aluminium frame, MIL STD 810 certification, and an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. The device is expected to measure 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and weigh around 186 grams.
