As anticipation builds around Motorola’s next foldable lineup, new leaks have revealed key design and feature details of the upcoming Razr 70 Ultra ahead of its official launch.
The Motorola Razr 70 series is expected to include 2 models — the Razr 70 and the Razr 70 Ultra. The standard variant was recently spotted on China’s TENAA and 3C certification platforms, hinting at its design and charging specifications. Now, fresh leaks provide a closer look at the Razr 70 Ultra through CAD renders and a 360-degree video.
According to a tipster collaboration with a tech platform, the leaked renders suggest that the left side of the device may feature a dedicated Moto AI button, while the right side could include the volume and power buttons. The bottom edge is expected to house a speaker grille, USB Type-C port, SIM slot, and microphone, while a secondary microphone appears on the top edge.
The overall design of the Razr 70 Ultra is expected to remain similar to the previous generation, with the company focusing more on refinements rather than a complete redesign.
The device may feature a 7-inch inner foldable display and a 4-inch cover screen, similar to its predecessor. In terms of size, the Razr 70 Ultra could measure around 171.3 x 74.1 x 7.8mm when unfolded, and about 9.6mm including the camera bump. When folded, it may measure 88.0 x 74.1 x 15.8mm, extending up to 17.63mm with the cameras.
Compared to the earlier model, the new device appears slightly thicker, possibly due to camera upgrades or a larger battery. However, its height and width are expected to remain nearly unchanged, offering a familiar feel to users.
While the exact launch date is not confirmed, the Razr 70 lineup is likely to debut in China before expanding to global markets. In the United States, the device is expected to be marketed as the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026. It is also expected to compete with upcoming foldable devices, including Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Fold series.
More details about the device are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
