In a recent development, Motorola is reported to have increased prices of several smartphones in India, including models from its Edge and G series. The revision affects multiple storage variants, making it the latest brand to adjust pricing in the market.
According to a tipster, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, launched in April 2025, has seen a price hike of Rs 2,000 across all variants. The 8GB + 128GB model is now said to be priced at Rs 22,999, up from Rs 20,999. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, earlier priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999, are now reportedly available at Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999.
The Moto G35 has also reportedly seen a price increase. The 4GB + 128GB variant is said to have risen from Rs 11,999 to Rs 12,499, marking a Rs 500 increase. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB variant is now priced at Rs 13,999, up from Rs 12,999.
Similarly, the Moto G57 Power is tipped to have received a price revision. The 8GB + 128GB model has reportedly increased from Rs 14,999 to Rs 15,999.
The updated pricing is currently reflected on Motorola India’s official website. The company has not yet issued an official statement regarding the changes.
The tipster noted that maintaining aggressive pricing may be difficult under current market conditions. The broader electronics industry is facing rising component costs, especially for DRAM and memory, driven by increasing demand from AI data centres. However, it is not confirmed if these factors are directly linked to the price hikes.
Other brands such as iQOO, OnePlus, Samsung, and Vivo are also reported to have increased prices across select models.
