Motorola Edge 70 Global Launch Set for November 5

Motorola has confirmed the global launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70, scheduled for November 5. The announcement also reveals key details about the device’s design and specifications, including its battery capacity. The Motorola Edge 70 is expected to be the brand’s slimmest smartphone yet, offering premium performance in a sleek and lightweight frame.

According to details shared on the Motorola Poland website, the new Edge 70 will feature a 4,800mAh battery with support for 68W wired fast charging. The teaser highlights the phone’s “ultra slim” profile, with reports suggesting it could measure as thin as 6mm. This would make it one of the slimmest smartphones in the market, aligning with current trends among major manufacturers focused on thinner and lighter flagships.

The upcoming model is expected to include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It may also feature Dolby Atmos-backed stereo speakers and a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view.

In comparison, its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 60, launched in April, features a 5,200mAh battery and a 7.9mm thickness. The new Edge 70 continues Motorola’s focus on premium design and innovation, competing with other slim devices recently introduced by brands such as Samsung and Apple.

Leaks suggest that the Motorola Edge 70 will be available in three colour options — Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Grey and Pantone Lily Pad. Earlier reports indicate that the smartphone could be priced around EUR 690 (approximately Rs. 70,000). However, newer retail listings suggest that the 12GB + 512GB variant could be priced between EUR 709 (approximately Rs. 73,100) and EUR 801.91 (approximately Rs. 82,700).

The Motorola Edge 70 is expected to attract users who value elegant design, powerful performance and reliable battery life, making it one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of the season.
