Monica Madan was named chief financial officer of Sterlite Technologies, a producer and supplier of high-performance power conductors, on Monday.
According to a statement from the firm, this appointment would help Sterlite’s expansion in the power conductor industry by utilizing Madan’s substantial global financial experience.
“Monica’s global experience and financial expertise make her the right leader to support Sterlite’s expansion and enhance our market position as we shape the future of power transmission,” said Reshu Madan, chief executive officer, Sterlite.
Experience and background
With more than 20 years of expertise, Monica Madan has worked with well-known global companies including Microsoft, Shell, and McAfee.
India, Southeast Asia, the US, and Europe are just a few of the many places she has worked. Madan was CFO of Schneider Electric Ireland before joining Sterlite.
