Mohit Malhotra takes on an expanded role as Global CEO of Dabur India

In a regulatory filing issued on Tuesday, the company confirmed that Mohit Malhotra has been elevated to the role of Global Chief Executive Officer, effective February 17. He previously served as Group CEO and is a Whole-time Director on the board.

In a separate development, Dabur appointed Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer – India Business. His new role will take effect from April 15, 2026.

Malhotra is a graduate of Savitribai Phule Pune University and holds an Executive Master’s degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He joined Dabur in 1994 as a Management Trainee and has since advanced through multiple leadership roles in sales and marketing.

Over the years, Malhotra has led several strategic business units, including serving as CEO of Dabur International, based in Dubai. He later became CEO – India Business before being appointed CEO of the company in April 2019.

Under his leadership, Dabur significantly expanded its global presence, strengthening its position as a transnational consumer goods company operating in over 100 countries. During his earlier tenure overseeing the MENA and Egypt regions, he focused on driving revenue growth and profitability, increasing brand investments, and conducting regular performance reviews with regional teams and distribution partners.

The leadership transition reflects Dabur’s continued focus on strengthening its global operations while reinforcing its domestic business strategy.
