Bengaluru-based AI startup Mitigata has raised USD 5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Titan Capital and WEH Ventures.
The fresh capital will be used to enhance Mitigata’s AI-powered cyber resilience and risk management platform. The company also plans to scale its services across major Indian cities and key global markets.
As part of its expansion strategy, Mitigata will set up global security operations centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. These centres will focus on AI-based threat detection, incident response, and managed security services. The team will also grow across areas such as security, compliance, and insurance.
Mitigata positions itself as India’s only full-stack cyber resilience platform. It brings together cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, and cyber insurance into a single, AI-driven solution designed for enterprises. Currently, the company supports over 500 organisations across more than 25 industry sectors. It is also India’s first cyber insurance provider regulated by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
“Our mission is to build strategic resilience for India’s digital economy by driving cybersecurity innovation from within,” said Sarthak Dubey, co-founder and COO.
Mohit Anand, co-founder and CEO, added, “Most businesses still treat cyber insurance and security as separate cost centres, often relying on fragmented vendors and siloed solutions. At Mitigata, we have reimagined and Indianised the model—delivering integrated, high-impact cyber resilience tailored to the unique needs of Indian organisations.”
Anand Datta, Partner at Nexus Venture Partners, said, “We believe the future of cybersecurity and insurance is an integrated, full-stack approach. Mitigata is pioneering an AI-led services model that covers the full risk lifecycle, from prevention to risk transfer.”
This funding milestone strengthens Mitigata’s role in India’s growing cybersecurity landscape and supports its aim to deliver unified, scalable, and AI-powered protection for enterprises.
