In this position, she will oversee HR strategy and alignment across regional markets including the United States, Canada, Brazil and Central and South America. In her expanded responsibility, Misty will lead the development of a unified people strategy aimed at strengthening collaboration, operational excellence, and employee experience across the Americas. Her leadership will focus on ensuring strong global alignment while enabling regional teams to maintain local expertise and responsiveness in their respective markets.
Misty currently serves as Head of Human Resources at Hyundai Capital America, where she leads the company’s HR strategy while also overseeing Corporate Communications and Real Estate/Facilities. In this role, she works closely with executive leadership and Hyundai Capital’s global parent organization to align workforce strategy, organizational culture, and workplace initiatives with long-term business objectives.
Before joining Hyundai Capital America, Misty spent more than 4 years with JPMorganChase, where she held dual leadership roles. She served as Head of HR – California Division for the Chase Consumer Bank, supporting nearly 9,000 employees across more than 980 locations. She also worked as National Strategic Projects Lead – Learning and Development, leading initiatives that impacted close to 45,000 employees across the Consumer Bank.
Earlier in her career, Misty held senior HR leadership roles at Prudential Financial as Head of HR – Western Territory and at Capital Group as Senior HR Consultant and Employee Relations Lead.
She also spent nearly 10 years with Toyota Financial Services, where she progressed through several positions including HR Manager, HR Business Partner, and International and Regional HR, gaining extensive experience in financial services HR strategy and global workforce management.
Misty holds an MBA from Azusa Pacific University and has completed executive education in Strategic Human Resources Leadership at Cornell University.
