Mira Murati’s team turns down Meta’s offers

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, seems to have no intention of stopping his resentful hiring campaign anytime soon. According to media, Zuckerberg attempted to purchase Thinking Machines Lab, another AI business, following ScaleAI. According to media reports, Mira Murati, the former CTO of OpenAI and creator of Thinking Machines Lab, shockingly rejected one of the greatest names in tech by revealing that none of her team members accepted Meta’s billion-dollar offers to join its recently established Superintelligence Lab.

Mira Murati on her team rejected Mark Zuckerberg’s offer

According to media, Thinking Machine Labs turned down Meta’s incredible $1 billion offer to join its Superintelligence Lab. To entice key AI researchers away from Murati’s business, the compensation offers ranged from $200 million to $1 billion spread over several years. “So far at Thinking Machines Lab, not a single person has taken the offer,” Mira confirmed to media.

Andy Stone, the head of Meta communications, has, however, taken issue with this assertion. As reported by media Stone said, “We made offers only to a handful of people at TML and while there was one sizeable offer, the details are off. At the end of the day, this all begs the question who is spinning this narrative and why.”

Mira Murati’s long-term vision for Thinking Machines Lab

One of the most followed AI startups is Thinking Machines Lab, which just received $1 billion without releasing a product. According to industry insiders, Mira Murati’s leadership and long-term vision are the major reasons her team stays together despite record-breaking offers.

Additionally, it is said that the researchers at Thinking Machines Lab value their autonomy and the chance to build AI from the ground up without being constrained by big business.
