Microsoft has announced the appointment of Chia Wee Luen as its new managing director for Singapore.
Wee Luen brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology, having held senior roles at organisations such as Red Hat, Qlik, and Oracle. Most recently, he served as managing director for Asia at ServiceNow.
Beyond his corporate career, Wee Luen chairs the Tech for Good Committee at the Singapore Computer Society and is also a member of the Digital and Technology Committee of the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
He takes over from Lee Hui Li, who previously led Microsoft’s Singapore operations.
According to Mayank Wadhwa of Microsoft, the leadership change reflects the company’s commitment to supporting Singapore’s digital ambitions and inclusive growth through the use of cloud and artificial intelligence.
