Mercedes Benz India has partnered with Zoho to introduce a decentralised dealer management system. The aim is to improve customer experience and support the digital transformation of its dealership network across India.
The new Dealer Management System called SKYLine will cover the complete service process. This includes booking, digital check in, technician assignment based on skills, and final delivery. The system will support real time data use, simpler workflows, and one connected backend.
Each dealership will operate through its own Zoho CRM system. This will help centres manage their work independently while still following the centrally set standards. A joint statement confirmed this.
The statement said that SKYLine brings dealer control and central supervision together. It creates a fully digital and connected platform for dealerships across the country. The project rollout included more than 5000 man days of user testing and 3000 man days of training.
SKYLine links the company’s older IT systems with Zoho technology. It uses a vertical multi instance design supported by Zoho CRM and the workflow tool Qntrl.
Zoho CEO Mani Vembu said that both teams worked together to build a platform that gives independence to each dealership while keeping real time central integration. He said that they created new middleware systems along with the developing Qntrl platform to ensure smooth communication between older systems.
