Enerven, a company specializing in electrical, telecommunications, and renewable infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Melissa Burridge as its new Head of Human Resources. In this crucial position, Burridge will lead Enerven’s comprehensive people strategy, focusing on talent development, improving company culture, and strengthening organizational capabilities.
Before joining Enerven, Melissa had a brief yet impactful role as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at SA Power Networks, the exclusive electricity distributor for South Australia. In this role, she provided HR support for large operational teams and collaborated closely on talent management and workforce planning during a significant business transformation.
Melissa also played a key role as Human Resources Manager at Caledonia Group for over three years, where she led HR initiatives in the industrial services sector. Earlier, she spent nearly eight years at Codan Limited, progressing from Human Resources Business Partner to Group Human Resources Manager, where she managed HR across various business units and supported the company’s growth.
Her early career featured leadership positions at Scaffidi Pharmacy Services as Human Resources Manager, at Southern Cross Care as Human Resources Advisor, and at Coffey International Development (now Tetra Tech Coffey) as Business Services Manager/HR Coordinator. Melissa started her professional journey as an Executive Assistant at Entrée Recruitment.
