Melania Trump showcases Humanoid AI robot at White House Summit

Highlighting the rapid progress of artificial intelligence, Melania Trump introduced a humanoid AI robot during a global summit at the White House, underlining the role of AI in education and international collaboration.

The robot, named Figure 3 and developed by Figure, was presented at the “Fostering the Future Together” summit, which brought together delegates from 45 countries. It was introduced as the first American-made humanoid robot to be featured as a guest at the White House.

A key highlight of the event was the robot’s ability to greet attendees in 11 languages, including Bengali. It interacted with the audience through gestures and multilingual greetings, demonstrating advanced communication capabilities.

The summit focused on how AI can shape the future of education and empower younger generations through technology. The humanoid robot served as a real-world example of how AI is moving beyond screens into more interactive and personalized systems.

Figure 3 is designed as an autonomous system capable of performing tasks such as cleaning, laundry and basic assistance. Its presence reflected how such technologies could extend into everyday life, including education and household support.

The event brought together technology, policy and global perspectives, offering a glimpse into how humanoid AI could play a larger role across industries in the future.
