Medlogix, a recognized leader in medical claims management, has announced the appointment of Alan Horton as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Horton will lead the company’s technology initiatives, focusing on enhancing the MyMedlogix platform and driving forward innovation in medical claims management.
Craig Goldstein, President and CEO of Medlogix, expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition to the leadership team. “Alan brings cutting-edge technical expertise to our senior leadership team and ensures continuity in shaping and executing the Medlogix strategic vision,” said Goldstein. “His experience in AI and data management will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our platform and accelerate our business growth. Alan’s leadership will be key in advancing our technology strategy, driving efficiencies, and ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation in medical claims management.”
Horton joins Medlogix with extensive experience in the healthcare technology space. Previously, he held key leadership roles at several healthcare organizations, where he led technology strategy, operational execution, and transformation projects. Notably, he contributed to a team that patented big data technology capable of processing millions of healthcare records in mere minutes. His deep expertise in AI and data management will play a pivotal role in expanding the MyMedlogix platform’s ability to handle large, complex datasets.
“I am excited to join the talented team at Medlogix and have the opportunity to drive forward-thinking technologies that will continue to support insurance and claims professionals,” Horton shared. “I look forward to working together to enhance our software platform and build on an incredible foundation, ensuring that we continue to improve outcomes, optimize processes, and maximize value for our clients.”
In a smooth transition, former CIO and Senior Vice President Stan Tomasevich, who was a key figure in developing MyMedlogix, will remain with the company as an Executive Technical Advisor. This transition will allow for the seamless exchange of leadership while maintaining the expertise that has been instrumental in the company’s success.
Medlogix’s commitment to improving medical claims management continues with this leadership change, as Horton’s vision and technical acumen are expected to elevate the company to new heights.
