MediaPSC, formerly known as The Plastic Surgery Channel, today announced the appointment of Scott Jorgensen as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Jorgensen, who has served on the company’s Board of Directors since 2010, brings extensive leadership experience in healthcare technology, finance, and digital media. His appointment comes as MediaPSC embarks on an exciting new chapter following its recent rebranding, expanding its focus beyond plastic surgery to the healthcare industry, including dermatology, medical spas, dentistry, fertility, and sports medicine.
Mr. Jorgensen, former Co-Founder and President of PatientFi, brings with him a wealth of experience in building, growing, and financing organizations. At PatientFi, Scott played a pivotal role in successfully raising over $50 million in capital, scaling the business into thousands of healthcare practices and launching its commercial partnership with Allergan.
“Scott’s extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to advance our digital media platform and prepare for the next stage of growth. We’re excited to welcome him on board. He has been a valued leader and advisor to our organization for many years,” said Dr. William Adams, Jr., Founder and Chairman of MediaPSC. “His strategic vision, operational expertise, and deep understanding of the healthcare media space make him the ideal person to lead MediaPSC into this next phase of growth. We are thrilled to have him step into the CEO role.”
Today, MediaPSC announced its transition from The Plastic Surgery Channel to MediaPSC, a move that reflects the company’s broader service offerings. These include on-location practice shoots, video content marketing, industry product launch support, KOL education content, social media content development, podcast and episodic video series production, website development and management, and more. MediaPSC also offers a state-of-the-art production studio in Dallas, Texas, where providers and industry leaders collaborate to create high-quality content through roundtable discussions, crosstalk specials, and product highlight videos.
“I am honored to take on the role of CEO at such a transformative time for MediaPSC,” said Jorgensen. “The company’s reputation for delivering trusted, high-quality digital storytelling is unmatched. I look forward to working with our talented team to build on that foundation, helping more practice providers and industry partners share their stories and grow their businesses.”
Mr. Jorgensen has over twenty years of commercial and executive experience, building and launching multiple market-leading franchises and products. Most recently, he served as CEO of Appiell, Inc and held senior roles at PatientFi, Alphaeon, Allergan, and Johnson & Johnson. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan Ross Business School and a Master of Business Administration from UCLA, Anderson School of Management.
