In this role, Naresh will work in an on-site capacity and lead talent acquisition strategies across corporate functions and major pharmaceutical segments including API, intermediates and peptides.
At Matrix Pharmacorp, Naresh Kumar Gunda will focus on strengthening hiring frameworks across research, manufacturing and sales functions. He will also lead a team responsible for delivering recruitment outcomes in a fast-paced business environment. His role will involve building structured recruitment processes aimed at attracting skilled professionals to support the company’s growing operations in the pharmaceutical sector.
Before joining Matrix Pharmacorp, he served as AGM Talent Acquisition at CuraTeQ Biologics. During this tenure, he led talent acquisition strategies for both CuraTeQ Biologics and TheraNym Biologics. His work focused on hiring talent for complex molecules and biotechnology research. He also implemented recruitment processes that reduced time-to-hire by 30% while managing a team responsible for high-volume hiring requirements.
Earlier in his career, Naresh Kumar Gunda spent over 6 years with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he progressed through several talent acquisition roles. He worked as Talent Advisor for R&D, Strategy and Commercial functions related to Biologics and IPDO. Prior to that, he served as Senior Manager Talent Acquisition – Biologics BU, overseeing end-to-end recruitment for monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and global pharmacovigilance roles. His responsibilities covered multiple areas including R&D, quality, engineering, manufacturing operations and support functions.
During his tenure at the company, Naresh also held positions as Talent Acquisition Manager – Biologics BU and Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition for the Biologics Business. These roles helped him gain deep experience in biotech recruitment and complex hiring mandates.
Before joining Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, he worked with Novartis as Talent Acquisition Specialist : COE. In this position, he handled recruitment for senior and specialist roles including statistical programming leadership, innovation and strategy leadership, as well as positions in biostatistics and data science.
Naresh also worked at Randstad India as Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition and supported AstraZeneca through an HR RPO deputation assignment. Earlier in his professional journey, he was associated with Nefer HR Consulting Pvt Ltd in roles related to account management and lead consulting for healthcare and life sciences sectors. He began his career in talent acquisition with HarNeedi.
