Manzoor Ali brings more than 30 years of experience, across the telecom and IT sectors, along with strong global exposure in MEA and India.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Jammu, Manzoor has led several large scale business and transformation initiatives during his career. He has worked with leading global organisations such as STL Sterlite Technologies Limited, OHI Group of Companies, Reichle and De Massari AG, E marine PJSC Etisalat UAE, and BPL Mobile. His work in business development, market expansion, and strategic planning has played a key role in driving growth and strengthening market presence across regions.
Manzoor also brings strong technical and commercial expertise across multiple technologies. He was part of India’s first batch of GSM engineers and contributed to shaping the early phase of mobile communication in the country. His professional journey also includes major projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where he was closely involved in the development of FTTx infrastructure. In addition, he has worked across VoIP and data center technologies.
At Calculus, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy and driving long term global growth across its cyber security, data center, and AI and IoT verticals. His key focus areas will include expanding market reach, building strong client relationships, and using innovation to grow the company in new and emerging markets.
An entrepreneur and angel investor, Manzoor is known for his forward looking vision and commitment to transformation in the telecom and technology space. His appointment marks a significant step for Calculus as it strengthens its leadership team to support the next phase of growth and innovation.
