Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. has strengthened its senior leadership with the appointment of Manzar Abbas. He brings wide ranging experience in leading enterprise level IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology governance across engineering, manufacturing, FMCG, and services organizations.
In his new role, Manzar Abbas will focus on strengthening digital capabilities and ensuring that technology initiatives are closely aligned with business objectives at Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. His mandate includes driving efficient IT systems and supporting long term business growth through technology.
Before joining Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd., Manzar Abbas served as Chief Information Officer at Orient Electric. During his tenure, he led large scale IT modernization programs and cybersecurity initiatives that supported the company’s growth and operational needs.
Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles at Rockman Industries Ltd. as Chief Information Officer and Head Corporate Social Responsibility. He also worked at Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. as General Manager IT, where he managed critical technology functions and digital initiatives.
Manzar Abbas has also been associated with Thomson Digital, Primus Telecommunications India Ltd. listed on Nasdaq under PRTL, Salient Business Solutions of the BILT Group, and Express printers LLC. These roles reflect his broad exposure to cross industry operations and global IT leadership environments.
With experience spanning multiple sectors and complex organizations, Manzar Abbas brings a strong blend of strategic and operational expertise. His appointment is expected to play an important role in advancing the digital and technology roadmap of Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd.
