Abbott Healthcare has promoted Manoj Gupta to the position of Director of Human Resources for its India operations.
Gupta brings nearly 18 years of experience in human resources and has been with Abbott for around 17 years. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Human Resources for the Medical Devices and Diagnostics division in India. Over the years, he has taken on various leadership roles within the company, including Manager of Talent Acquisition, Regional HR Manager, and Head of Business HR across multiple divisions.
His professional journey began in 2006 at Jetking Infotrain as a Centre Manager. Before entering the corporate sector, Gupta served in the Indian Armed Forces for 16 years, gaining valuable leadership and organisational experience.
Gupta holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University and an LLB in Labour and Industrial Relations from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Gupta wrote: “Thrilled to share that I’ve been appointed as Director – Human Resources at Abbott Healthcare Pvt Ltd.”
With this promotion, Abbott aims to further strengthen its human resources leadership to support the organisation’s growth and employee development initiatives in India.
