In this position, Manisha will guide the company’s global legal and governance strategy while supporting its expansion in international markets. Her role will also focus on strengthening compliance systems and partnership frameworks across the organisation.
Before joining SiteMinder, Manisha served as Chief Strategy and Risk Officer at MTData, a subsidiary of Telstra that provides fleet management, telematics, and compliance solutions. She reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer and led strategic growth programs, business transformation efforts, and risk management initiatives that improved operational efficiency and governance standards.
Prior to MTData, Manisha held several key leadership roles at Telstra. As General Manager for Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Strategy, she led high value global partnerships with major technology companies including Apple, NVIDIA, Accenture, and Meta. She also represented Telstra as Shareholder Representative for Silicon Quantum Computing, where she played an important role in developing Telstra’s first quantum commercialisation strategy. She later chaired the Audit and Risk Committee at Silicon Quantum Computing, a joint venture involving Telstra, a financial institution, the Australian Government, and UNSW.
Manisha also served as Managing Director and Board Member at muruD, Telstra’s venture accelerator, overseeing a portfolio of 90 startups across Australia, Asia, and the United States. She managed investments and advised founders on growth, governance, and scaling strategies. In her earlier role as General Counsel and Portfolio Manager at muruD, she reshaped the organisation’s operating model to support sustainable long term expansion.
Before her leadership positions within the Telstra group, she served as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Quantium, where she introduced advanced data risk governance practices and led the negotiation of early data commercialisation contracts. Earlier in her career, she gained experience at several organisations including Optiver, Avaya, Omnilab Media, ITV Studios Australia, and a corporate law firm, building strong expertise in governance, technology law, and commercial transactions.
Manisha currently contributes to the not for profit sector as a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Chair of the Cybersecurity Governance Working Group at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research.
