Manish Bahadur has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President at HCLTech, marking a major milestone in his long-standing career with the company. In this elevated role, he will lead global operations across the financial services sector, covering retail and commercial banking as well as the fast-growing neo-bank ecosystem. He is also at the forefront of implementing Generative AI to enhance compliance, streamline operations and improve customer experience worldwide.
Manish has been with HCLTech for over 11 years, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Operations. Over the past eight years, he has led key transformation initiatives including the creation of a Centre of Excellence for KYC and AML, and the deployment of AI-powered compliance solutions across multiple regions. His leadership has played a vital role in strengthening HCLTech’s delivery models and boosting operational efficiency in the financial services domain.
Before joining HCLTech, Manish held the position of Vice President and BFS Practice Head at a global technology company, where he managed major transformation projects for clients such as a leading African bank. Prior to that, during his tenure at a global financial institution, he was instrumental in establishing back-office operations for retail banking and managing private banking operations on an international scale.
Manish began his career with roles at leading financial institutions including Genpact, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. Through these experiences, he built a strong foundation in banking operations, process excellence and branch management. With over 20 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in financial services and operational leadership.
