LTIMindtree Launches GCC-as-a-Service for Global Expansion in India

Mumbai-based IT firm LTIMindtree has launched a new integrated offering called GCC-as-a-Service, aimed at supporting global enterprises in setting up, expanding, and transforming their global capability centres in India and other key locations.

The announcement was made on July 1, marking LTIMindtree’s entry into the fast-growing market for turnkey GCC solutions. This offering includes the complete range of Build, Operate, Transform and Transfer services, catering to both new companies entering the Indian market and those looking to improve their existing captive centres.

“GCCs are becoming strategic centers for industry-specific transformation and efficiency,” said Venu Lambu, CEO and Managing Director of LTIMindtree. “Our GCC-as-a-Service helps enterprises evolve their GCCs into global innovation hubs, leveraging scalable, responsible AI for competitive advantage.”

This move comes shortly after staffing firm Quess Corp launched “Origint”, its own GCC-as-a-Service solution, in June. The rising demand reflects the growing importance of India as a hub for global technology and business operations.

India currently hosts over 1,700 GCCs, which play a vital role in delivering IT and business services for global companies. These centres contributed to a 17 percent year-on-year growth in the tech workforce, creating nearly 1.8 lakh jobs in 2024. The GCC sector in India is expected to touch $105 billion by 2030, employing around 24 lakh professionals.

LTIMindtree’s new offering includes support for legal and compliance set-up, infrastructure readiness, transition management, AI-based talent acquisition, and transformation capabilities. It is powered by the company’s proprietary BlueVerse Agentic AI ecosystem and AI studios located across India, the US, and Europe.

With this launch, LTIMindtree aims to position itself as a key player in enabling global enterprises to tap into India’s growing digital talent and innovation landscape.
