Venu Lambu has been named LTIMindtree’s new CEO and MD, with immediate effect. Debashis Chatterjee’s retirement from the position is the reason for the change. After the company’s Annual General Meeting on Friday, Chatterjee resigned, citing personal reasons.
Lambu has a plethora of global IT leadership expertise to his role as CEO-designate. Lambu was the CEO of Randstad Digital, the $3 billion digital division of Randstad, prior to joining LTIMindtree. In this role, he was primarily concerned with using India’s Global Capability Centers and enabling global digital talent. From October 2020 to January 2023, he led international markets and produced five times as much profit, making LTIMindtree one of the most successful company value creation stories in the sector. Additionally, Lambu has held executive roles with IBM, HCL Technologies, and Cognizant.
Lambu has a General Management Certification from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore.
