LG unveils new xboom portable speakers with AI sound tuning ahead of CES 2026

A fresh lineup of portable speakers is set to expand LG’s audio portfolio across indoor and outdoor use cases.

LG has introduced a new range of xboom portable Bluetooth speakers just ahead of CES 2026. The new series focuses on smart audio features, rugged builds, and flexible designs aimed at music lovers with different listening needs.

The latest xboom models use AI based technology to analyse the music being played and the surrounding environment. Based on this, the speakers automatically adjust sound equalisation for better audio output. Ambient lighting also changes in real time to match the rhythm of the music.

The largest model in the lineup is the xboom Stage 501. Designed for parties and karaoke sessions, it delivers up to 220 watts of output power. It features dual woofers, full range drivers, and a cabinet that can be placed either horizontally or vertically. Built in AI tools allow users to isolate or remove vocals from tracks for greater playback control.

For users seeking a powerful yet portable option, the xboom Blast offers a 99 watt hour battery with up to 35 hours of playtime. Its durable design and easy to carry structure make it suitable for outdoor use and long listening sessions away from home.

The xboom Mini targets everyday portability. It is ultra compact and comes with strap and mount support, making it easy to carry or place anywhere. The xboom Rock is designed for tougher environments, featuring a rugged body tested against multiple military standards. Both the Mini and Rock models provide around 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.

LG’s ongoing collaboration with will i am continues with this lineup, focusing on energetic and balanced sound profiles tailored for modern lifestyles. All models are expected to launch in 2026 and will be showcased at LG’s booth during CES.
