Lenskart has announced major growth in Singapore as the eyewear brand focuses on expanding its presence in the region. The company said it has become the largest eyewear player in the Southeast Asian nation and is now introducing a two hour delivery service to strengthen its position further.
Peyush Bansal, co founder and chief executive of the company, shared updates during an interaction with analysts on December one, soon after the company released its second quarter results. He said, “about one out of four people wear a Lenskart pair of glasses in Singapore. The playbook is global. We are executing on this with discipline and speed.”
Lenskart operates in several international markets outside India, including Japan, parts of the Middle East, Europe and other regions. International markets contribute almost forty percent of its total revenue. The firm, based in Delhi NCR, reported revenue from operations of Rs 2,096 crore in the second quarter, marking a twenty one percent increase from Rs 1,735.7 crore in the same quarter last year. It had reported Rs 1,894.5 crore in revenue in the previous quarter.
Lenskart’s net profit for the second quarter of financial year 2025 to 2026 stood at Rs 103.5 crore, reflecting a nearly twenty percent jump from Rs 86.3 crore a year earlier. The company had posted a profit of Rs 61.2 crore in the previous quarter, based on regulatory filings.
Bansal said the international business is expected to accelerate further, supported by rising demand for eyewear in Singapore. He pointed out that “about 83 percent of the people in Singapore get myopic by the age of 18,” compared to about forty percent in India.
The company’s strong market share in Singapore is also influenced by its pricing strategy. Lenskart’s prices are roughly a tenth lower than competing brands. Bansal said, “In Singapore, the average glasses for kids would cost 300 to 400 dollars, but our starting price point for the same category, for two pairs including lenses, is about 50 dollars. So, the delta is very wide.”
He added that Lenskart earns healthy margins in global markets. Margins from international sales stand at around seventy five percent, which is about eleven percentage points higher than the sixty three percent margins it records in India.
