Lenovo has expanded its tablet portfolio in India with the launch of the Idea Tab Plus, positioning it as a more premium option alongside the existing Idea Tab. The new tablet arrives after its global debut in September and is aimed at users looking for a larger screen, stronger performance and bundled accessories straight out of the box.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus is offered in 2 memory options. The base variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the higher model features 12GB RAM with the same storage capacity. Both versions are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. Pricing starts at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB plus 256GB model with Wi Fi or 5G connectivity, while the 12GB plus 256GB Wi Fi variant is priced at Rs. 30,999. All models include the Tab Pen stylus in the box and are available in a single Luna Grey colour.
Preorders for the tablet are now open, with sales set to begin on December 22 through Lenovo’s website and an ecommerce platform. Lenovo is targeting users who want a productivity focused tablet that can also handle entertainment, with the bundled stylus and large screen playing a key role in the offering.
In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus features a 12.1-inch LCD display with 2.5K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness. It runs on Android 15 and includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi Fi 802.11 a b g n ac, 5G on select models and Bluetooth 5.2. The tablet packs a 10,200mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, weighs 540g and comes with features such as Lenovo NotePad, Circle to Search, Gemini and full support for the Tab Pen.
