Lava has announced the launch of its new entry-level smartphone, the Lava Bold N1 5G, on September 5, 2025. The company said the device is compatible with all 5G networks in India, strengthening its position in the affordable smartphone market.
The Bold N1 5G carries an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes. It features a 6.75 inch HD+ notch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio, designed to provide a smooth viewing experience.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that comes with a 10W charger in the box, although it also supports up to 18W fast charging. It runs on a Unisoc T765 octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB, expandable up to 1 TB. Users can also take advantage of an additional 4 GB of virtual RAM.
Lava Bold N1 5G operates on Android 15 straight out of the box, with the company confirming two years of operating system updates and three years of security patches.
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera that includes a screen flash. The device also supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.
The Lava Bold N1 5G is priced at ₹7,499 for the 64 GB model and ₹7,999 for the 128 GB variant. It will be available in two colours, Champagne Gold and Royal Blue.
