In a move to strengthen its cybersecurity leadership, Kshema General Insurance Limited has appointed Ashutosh Pandey as its Chief Information Security Officer.
In his new role, Pandey will lead the organisation’s enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management framework. He will be responsible for enhancing the company’s information security posture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling secure digital growth aligned with business objectives.
Prior to joining Kshema General Insurance, Pandey served as Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at RenewBuy. In that role, he led cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance initiatives across insurance and fintech ecosystems.
Earlier in his career, he worked as Head of Information Security at Magicbricks and held senior cybersecurity positions at UnitedHealth Group and HCLTech. His professional background spans nearly 2 decades, with experience across application security, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and incident response.
Pandey brings deep expertise across BFSI, technology, and digital platforms, positioning him to address evolving cyber risks in the insurance sector. His appointment comes at a time when insurers are increasingly focused on strengthening digital resilience amid growing regulatory scrutiny and cyber threats
Kshema General Insurance said the leadership addition reflects its continued focus on building a robust and future-ready security framework to support business growth and customer trust.
