Mr. Saha joins the organisation with a strong background in media leadership and regional content strategy. He brings years of experience from several major broadcast networks, where he led key business and marketing functions across different regional clusters.
Saha has previously managed major channels as Business Head, including a leading Bangla entertainment cluster, a regional movies channel and an Odia general entertainment channel. He has also handled marketing and PSI responsibilities for one of the largest Bangla entertainment brands during his time at a prominent network. His experience further includes steering marketing and content strategy for Bangla general entertainment and movies channels at another major media company, where he supported brand direction and audience growth.
During his tenure at a large South Indian broadcast group, Saha played an important role in building and growing a Bangla channel and also contributed to the launch phase of a Marathi channel. Before this, he worked across Strategy, Programming Insights and Consumer Insights for key entertainment and movie channels within a leading national network. His early professional foundation at two well known consumer brands strengthened his analytical and strategic approach.
Saha also contributed to the growth of multiple channels within a major entertainment enterprise, where he helped launch Punjabi and Bhojpuri channels and supported strategic planning across Marathi, youth focused, movie, Bangla, regional and lifestyle channels. His work involved business planning, audience insights, content development and regional expansion.
With this extensive experience across regional markets, content strategy and business leadership, Saha is well positioned to support JioStar as it continues to grow its entertainment portfolio.
