Kinaxis and Tosoh Corporation Develop AI-Powered Supply Chain Transformation

Leading global chemical company improves supply chain operations through greater visibility, collaboration and speed

Kinaxis®, a global leader in end-to-end supply chain orchestration, announced today that Tosoh Corporation, a major player in the global chemical industry, has selected Kinaxis to streamline its operations and support the company’s continued growth. In an industry known for frequent disruption, Tosoh needed a resilient and agile solution so the company could respond more quickly to market changes and maintain operational continuity in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving industry.

Tosoh, one of Asia’s largest chlor-alkali manufacturers, supplies a wide range of basic and organic chemicals. From petrochemical operations supplying ethylene, polymers, and polyethylene to its advanced materials businesses supplying the global semiconductor, display, and solar energy industries, even minor disruptions can have negative repercussions throughout the supply chain.

Tosoh selected the Kinaxis Maestro™ platform because of its unique ability to provide end-to-end orchestration that will strengthen coordination between sales and operations functions, optimize inventory, and improve the balance between supply and demand, while navigating a volatile industry. Historically reliant on manual, spreadsheet-based processes, Tosoh faced significant challenges in gaining visibility across its global operations. With Maestro, it now has a powerful, unified platform that replaces fragmented workflows with intelligent automation, enabling faster, more sophisticated, data-driven decisions.

“We are very excited to be working with Kinaxis to enhance and transform our supply chain operations,” said Mitsuhiro Nishimura, Vice President at Tosoh Corporation . “Traditional enterprise resource planning systems simply cannot keep up with the complexity and speed required in today’s chemical industry, and Maestro will enable us to meet industry challenges with greater resilience while advancing business growth and performance.”

“Kinaxis is excited to expand its presence in the global chemical industry with Tosoh Corporation, transforming its supply chain operations and strengthening its market resilience,” said Masa Kogure, President, Japan at Kinaxis . “Maestro will drive efficiency, agility, and growth in their global operations with the visibility and speed needed to plan for and avoid disruptions, which are common in the complex chemical industry.”
