UnitedHealthcare has announced the appointment of Kelsey Kubacki as Director, People Business Partner. In this leadership role, she will help advance the company’s people strategy, align HR initiatives with organisational goals, and support teams in fulfilling UnitedHealthcare’s mission to help people live healthier lives.
Kelsey has been part of UnitedHealthcare for more than three years, most recently serving as Associate People Business Partner. During this time, she contributed to key HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, talent development, and business alignment. Her in-depth understanding of UnitedHealthcare’s culture and operations positions her well to lead the People Business Partner function with strategic vision and empathy.
Before moving into human resources leadership, Kelsey built a decade-long career at UnitedHealth Group in internal audit and risk management. She began as an Internal Audit Analyst and advanced through roles including Senior Analyst, Consultant, Manager, and Associate Director of Internal Audit. Throughout her tenure, she developed strong expertise in organisational effectiveness, leadership collaboration, and process improvement—skills that continue to define her HR leadership approach today.
Kelsey’s professional journey reflects her ability to connect business insight with people strategy. Her leadership style, combining analytical thinking with a people-first mindset, makes her a valuable partner to teams and leaders across the organisation as UnitedHealthcare continues to evolve in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
