Kathreen B. Appointed as Head of People Operations at INKY Technology

INKY Technology has announced the appointment of Kathreen B. as Head of People Operations. In this role, she will lead the company’s global people strategy, covering benefits, HRIS, compliance, employee lifecycle, and financial operations alignment. With over 15 years of experience in HR, operations, and finance, she brings a rare combination of analytical expertise, process optimisation, and people-first leadership to the position.

Kathreen has been with INKY since 2024, most recently serving as HR Benefits Administrator and FinOps Analyst. In this role, she integrated benefits administration with financial analysis to strengthen decision-making. She also improved audit readiness, streamlined benefits delivery, and enhanced organisational agility by connecting HR and finance functions. Her ability to balance compliance with empathy for employees earned her trust across the company.

Alongside her role at INKY, Kathreen runs her own independent practice, KathreenB Consulting, founded in 2021. Through this, she has advised startups and mid-sized organisations on HR, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and operations. Her consulting work reflects her ability to design scalable people systems suited for dynamic business environments.

Before joining INKY, Kathreen worked as HR and Operations Analyst and Project Manager at CataBoom for nearly three years. She implemented HRIS tools, streamlined recruiting and onboarding, and supported AWS audits in collaboration with compliance and security teams. She also introduced analytics-led improvements in recruitment and exit processes, boosting retention and employee experience.

She has also held leadership roles at White Rabbit Intel as Operations Manager, where she managed HR, payroll, benefits, recruiting, budgets, and compliance in a fast-paced technology setting. At Lotus Fiduciary Group, she gained experience as Executive Assistant and Public Relations Specialist, managing client onboarding, estate documentation, office operations, and communications.

Her career also includes roles at ThinkTank Collective Intelligence Software, ProofHQ (later acquired by Workfront), External IT, Adgile, RealPage, and HRsmart, where she progressed from administrative support to directly assisting the CFO. Each role strengthened her expertise in HR, finance, compliance, and people operations.

Beyond corporate work, Kathreen has contributed to the community as Relay for Life Chair and Volunteer with the American Cancer Society, leading fundraising and engagement initiatives. She also worked at The University of Texas at Dallas as Student Union Manager, where she supervised staff, scheduled events, and improved student services.

Kathreen’s diverse career path highlights her consistent focus on aligning people operations with organisational goals while fostering transparency, accountability, and engagement.
