Kaspersky and Oman Data Park partner to strengthen cybersecurity in the Sultanate

Kaspersky has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Oman Data Park. Kaspersky is a global company that focuses on cybersecurity and digital privacy. Oman Data Park is the leading managed services and cloud provider in the Sultanate. The agreement aims to improve cybersecurity collaboration and help organisations in Oman become more resilient against cyber threats.

The new partnership creates a clear structure for both parties to exchange technical information and share knowledge. It will also help coordinate responses to incidents. This cooperation will support faster detection of cyberattacks and better understanding of threats. It will also help develop stronger protection for businesses and government organisations as cybercrime becomes more complex.

The agreement includes more than technical support. It will offer training programmes for leaders, learning sessions for customers, and awareness activities for the public. These efforts will help decision makers, employees, and end users understand current cyber risks. It will also give them the skills and tools needed to follow strong security practices. Kaspersky and Oman Data Park want to improve the overall cybersecurity culture in the Sultanate.

“At Kaspersky, our mission is to build a safer world by empowering organisations to anticipate, detect, and respond to cyberthreats with confidence. Through this collaboration with Oman Data Park, we are bringing our global expertise closer to customers in Oman, enabling stronger protection for critical sectors and contributing to the country’s cybersecurity ecosystem.” said Rashed Al Momani, General Manager, Kaspersky Middle East

“Cybersecurity is a cornerstone of Oman’s digital transformation journey. By partnering with Kaspersky, we are combining our local expertise with their global threat intelligence to deliver stronger, more reliable protection for businesses and government entities in the Sultanate. This cooperation reflects our commitment to providing secure, world class cloud and managed services to our customers.” said Eng Maqbool Al Wahabi, CEO, Oman Data Park

Kaspersky said that this partnership reflects its growing focus on the region. The company aims to support national efforts and help both the public and private sectors use advanced security solutions that match the fast changing digital environment.
