William Grant & Sons has officially announced the appointment of Kartik Mohindra as the new Managing Director for India. He will take on the role starting 30th September 2025.
Kartik brings over 26 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the alcoholic beverages sector. He joins William Grant & Sons after an impressive tenure at Pernod Ricard India, where he worked for almost 22 years. During his time there, he held several leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Global Business Development.
Throughout his career at Pernod Ricard, Kartik played a key role in building and expanding major international brands including Chivas Regal, Absolut, The Glenlivet, and Royal Stag. His leadership spanned across various responsibilities such as heading the North Zone as a profit centre and managing international brands across the Indian subcontinent.
Before joining Pernod Ricard, Kartik worked at United Spirits Limited as Senior Brand Manager. This role laid the foundation for his strong marketing capabilities in the beverage industry
Kartik holds an MBA in Marketing from Thames Valley University, London, and is an alumnus of St. Columba’s, where he completed his early education.
In his new position at William Grant & Sons, Kartik will focus on expanding the company’s presence in India, driving strategic growth, and building premium brand visibility in one of the fastest-growing spirits markets in the world.
