Karandeep Singh Duggal Appointed as Region Head Central India at Reckitt

Wishing Mr. Karandeep Singh Duggal greater responsibilities and exciting challenges in this impressive new chapter!

Karandeep Singh Duggal has been appointed as Region Head Central India at Reckitt, a global consumer health and hygiene company. In this new leadership role, he will oversee strategic business operations across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. He is now responsible for all channel functions including General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce and Cash and Carry.

Karandeep has also joined Reckitt’s India Sales Leadership Team, where he will focus on driving sustainable growth across categories and channels. He will manage a large workforce that includes over 120 Reckitt employees, 194 distributors and more than 800 field personnel.

Before joining Reckitt, Karandeep spent nearly five years at Unilever. He most recently served as Consumer Cluster Head (Sales Director) for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. He led a 600 million dollar business, managing a complex network of 260 distributors and over two lakh outlets. Under his leadership, the cluster delivered over 10 percent year-on-year growth for four consecutive years and made strong market share gains. He was named among HUL’s CD Top 50 Leaders and was widely known for his go-to-market strategies during challenging periods such as the COVID pandemic and regional floods. His team achieved an outstanding 97 percent engagement score, one of the highest in Unilever.

Karandeep also spent more than eight years at GSK Consumer Healthcare. As Senior Marketing Manager Innovations, he led the largest-ever launch for the company with Active Horlicks and was responsible for more than 80 percent of innovation sales in the Family Nutrition category. He managed the Horlicks High Science Nutrition portfolio and helped deliver high double-digit growth while leading successful product launches and digital campaigns in pediatric nutrition

He began his career at GSK as a Key Accounts Manager and progressed through roles such as Senior Brand Manager and strategic portfolio head for brands like Horlicks Biscuits, Foodles and Horlicks Oats. His campaigns including #OathToHealth won several awards at national advertising events.

Earlier in his career, Karandeep worked for over two years at a global food company where he started as a Management Trainee and later became Area Sales Manager for South Bengal. He played a key role in frontline sales operations and team building during his early years in FMCG.
