Kapil Goswami joins REA India as Chief Marketing Officer

In his new role, Kapil will lead the company’s marketing strategy with a strong focus on growth, brand building, and data-driven decision-making. He brings deep expertise in consumer growth, marketing analytics, and P&L leadership to further strengthen REA India’s market position.

Before joining REA India, Kapil Goswami served as SVP – Consumer Growth and Paytm Movies at Paytm. During his tenure, he scaled the customer base by 25 million, delivered a 300% increase in daily active users, and drove significant improvements in profitability.

Kapil has also spent more than a decade at Google, where he held senior leadership roles across the APAC region. His responsibilities included serving as Head of Marketing Analytics and Attribution, as well as Head of Search Sales Operations and Strategy. His work focused on driving performance, improving attribution models, and supporting large-scale growth initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Kapil worked in consulting at KPMG and held operations leadership roles at ICI. This experience has given him a strong cross-functional perspective across technology, consulting, and large-scale operations.

With this appointment, REA India strengthens its leadership team as it continues to focus on growth, brand impact, and data-led marketing strategies in a competitive digital marketplace.
