As it accelerates its plans in the automotive space, JSW Motors has strengthened its leadership team with a key senior appointment aimed at driving growth across markets. In his new role, Jain will be responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy and supporting business expansion as JSW Motors scales up its automotive ambitions.
Jain brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, with a career spanning sales, after-sales, marketing, and product functions. He has led large retail operations and driven growth across multi-brand portfolios, with a strong emphasis on customer-focused and market-led strategies.
Before joining JSW Motors, Jain served as Group CEO and Whole-Time Director at Jubilant Motorworks. During his tenure, he played a significant role in expanding the company’s footprint, improving profitability, onboarding new brands, and implementing technology-driven solutions.
Earlier, he was Group CEO at AMP Motors, where he oversaw the Jaguar Land Rover and Ducati businesses. He also served as CEO and board member at Shaman Mercedes, leading network expansion and operational improvements.
Jain’s earlier professional experience includes leadership roles at Ford India, Hero Honda, and Daimler Chrysler, along with entrepreneurial ventures through Torque Lifestyle.
On the academic front, Jain holds a degree in mechanical engineering from North Gujarat University and a master’s degree in management studies with a specialization in marketing from KJ Somaiya College. Beyond his corporate career, he has also represented the Baroda Under-16 cricket team.
The appointment is expected to support JSW Motors as it builds its commercial capabilities and prepares for the next phase of growth in India’s evolving automotive market.
