ManipalCigna Health Insurance has named Joydeep Saha as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, following the required regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
Joydeep brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a strong background in actuarial science, product development and business strategy. He has been a key member of the ManipalCigna team for over seven years, having served in multiple leadership roles including Appointed Actuary and Chief Officer for Actuarial, Product, Reinsurance, Group Underwriting and Analytics.
He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
