Johnny Stilou has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Saniona (OMX: SANION), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical business, with immediate effect. Including positions at Scandion Oncology, Nuevolution AB, Amgen Inc., and Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, he has over 25 years of financial leadership expertise from both Scandinavian and foreign public firms.
As the former CFO of Nuevolution (bought by Amgen Inc.), Scandion Oncology, and EVP & CFO of Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Johnny Stilou has demonstrated success in corporate finance, capital markets, and financial strategy. Because of his background in both large-cap firms and growth-stage biotech businesses, he is qualified to assist Saniona with its long-term funding plan and ongoing development. He will be in charge of Saniona’s fundraising initiatives, investor relations, and financial strategy as the business moves its pipeline into significant value inflection points.

Johnny Stilou has finished the INSEAD Executive Management Program and has a Cand.Merc.Aud. (MSc in Business Economics and Auditing). He will report to the CEO and be a member of Saniona’s senior leadership team.
