JLL announces major Hyderabad expansion with new capability centre

Global real estate and investment management firm JLL has announced a major expansion in India with a new one hundred and twenty thousand square feet office facility in the Financial District of Hyderabad. The centre is part of JLL Business Services and will become the company’s second major capability hub in India after Gurugram. It will create more than one thousand six hundred skilled jobs by the first quarter of 2026.

This move strengthens India’s position as an important base for high value global capability centres that support innovation, analytics and digitally enabled operations.

The Hyderabad facility covers two floors in the Prestige Sky Tech building. It reflects JLL’s shift from traditional support functions to advanced global operations that support its consulting expertise around the world.

Once operational, the centre will join JLL’s network of Shared Service Centers in six countries. These centres together employ more than six thousand professionals, with over half of them based in India.

Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Center Officer, JBS, said: “We are not simply adding office space we are creating opportunities for professionals to contribute to world class operations that directly influence commercial real estate decisions across global markets.”

The new Hyderabad centre will manage several high value functions. These include advanced analytics and data driven insights, AI and technology enabled business solutions, strategic advisory services, finance, HR and project development services, global lease administration and complex business process management. These functions will position the facility as an important global operations engine.

The centre will follow modern workplace trends. It will include collaborative and hybrid friendly workspaces, LEED certified sustainability features, wellness facilities and flexible layouts that follow JLL’s Workforce Preference Barometer 2025. It will be one of JLL’s most advanced and employee friendly offices.

JLL leaders also highlight India’s growing role in global real estate innovation. Dheeraj Popli, Head, Global Service Center, India, said: “Indian professionals now spearhead cutting edge R and D, AI development, and complex business operations that directly influence global decision making.”

Hyderabad continues to grow as a preferred location for global capability centres. It offers a strong tech and analytics talent base, solid infrastructure, business friendly government policies and strong cost to value advantages. These strengths support JLL’s long term global service delivery plans.

India currently hosts more than one thousand nine hundred and fifty global capability centres that employ more than one point nine million professionals. JLL’s investment further supports the country’s shift from cost focused operations to strategic innovation roles for global enterprises.

With its new Hyderabad centre, JLL strengthens its commitment to India as an important part of its global operations. The expansion supports JLL’s consulting capabilities and increases its role in advancing real estate analytics, technology and decision making.
