J&K Bank Appoints Ketan Kumar Joshi as New CFO

J&K Bank has officially named Ketan Kumar Joshi as its new Chief Financial Officer for a period of three years, starting from the date of his joining. He takes over the role from Fayaz Ahmad Ganai.

The bank informed stock exchanges about this appointment, following the guidelines under SEBI regulations. Ketan Kumar Joshi is a highly experienced finance and banking professional with more than 20 years of expertise, both in India and internationally.

Before joining J&K Bank, he held the position of CFO at North East Small Finance Bank Ltd. from 2019 to 2024. During his tenure, he led several key initiatives and played a major role in the successful system migration from FIS PROFILE to BSG TURING. His leadership helped align capital growth with the bank’s business expansion and regulatory standards.

Ketan Kumar Joshi has also worked as CFO in Afghanistan with Maiwand Bank, Bakhtar Bank, and Ghazanfar Bank. Additionally, he served as Senior Vice President at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. in Mumbai.

Joshi holds a Commerce degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. His additional certifications include CS Group 1, JAIIB, and an IFRS certification from NIBM.
