Cheil South West Asia (SWA) has proudly announced the appointment of Jitender Dabas as the new CEO of Cheil X, a dynamic, full-service agency operating independently under the Cheil India SWA group. With this strategic move, Cheil X is set to expand its horizons, managing accounts beyond its flagship client, Samsung.
Jitender Dabas brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the CEO and CSO at McCann Worldgroup in India. He was also the head of effectiveness for APAC. At Cheil X, he will oversee operations across the agency’s offices in Delhi and Mumbai, and will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence across multiple sectors, including creative strategy, digital marketing, content production, retail design, performance solutions, and more.
Jitender’s appointment marks a critical moment in Cheil X’s evolution, as the agency continues to strengthen its capabilities in digital marketing, experience commerce, content creation, and influencer marketing. With his extensive experience in advertising strategy and his proven track record in leading global teams, Jitender is set to elevate Cheil X to new heights of success.
An alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Jitender has established himself as one of the top strategic minds in global advertising. Over the course of his career at WPP and IPG, he has garnered accolades for both creative leadership and strategic effectiveness. Among his achievements are the WPP Atticus Award, his role as a juror for prestigious awards such as Cannes Lions, and recognition with more than 100 industry awards on both national and international stages.
