Together with conventional machine learning methods, this next-generation platform will leverage a wide variety of AI technologies, such as Agentic AI, generic and domain-specific Large Language Models (LLMs), and Small Language Models (SLMs). The platform is poised to revolutionize industry standards by incorporating AI into all aspects of digital network and telecommunications operations.
The solution, which is intended to serve as a central intelligence layer, will optimize a number of network domains, including security, AI-driven data centers, routing, Radio Access Networks (RAN), and telecom infrastructure. Additionally, it will make use of open APIs from SLMs and LLMs to improve its performance and flexibility.
As the platform’s first user, Jio will contribute to the creation of a reference architecture that telecom providers all over the world may use. For the global service provider sector, this effort represents a major step toward AI-powered, scalable, and secure telecom networks.
