Itel has expanded its smartphone line-up in India with the launch of the Itel A100 4G. The new handset is positioned in the entry level segment and features a design inspired by premium smartphones. The company says the device is built for durability and everyday use, while offering key features aimed at budget conscious users.
The Itel A100 4G is priced at Rs. 6,799 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM option costs Rs. 7,499. The phone is available through retail stores across India in Silk Green, Pure Black and Titanium Gold colour options. Buyers also get a free screen replacement within 100 days of purchase, adding extra value to the offering.
On the software front, the dual SIM smartphone runs Itel OS 15 based on Android 15. It comes with a 6.6 inch HD plus IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 269 PPI pixel density and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the device is the octa core UniSoc T7100 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can also expand memory with up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
In terms of cameras, the Itel A100 4G features an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster and a USB Type C port. The phone also includes an Ultralink feature that allows calls between Itel users in areas with no network coverage using emergency communication methods. For durability, the handset offers IPX4 splash resistance and MIL STD 810H certification. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging.
