Infosys has launched a new state-of-the-art facility in Kharadi, Pune, marking a major step forward in its strategy to support global capability centers and deepen client partnerships. The new Infosys-GCC Center is designed to act as a hub for innovation, artificial intelligence, and business-technology transformation.
Located in the fast-growing eastern tech corridor of Pune, Kharadi has become a popular destination for IT companies and multinational corporations due to its strong infrastructure and access to skilled professionals. This makes it an ideal location for Infosys to expand its presence and build stronger connections with global clients.
The center aims to become a Center of Excellence for next-generation innovation and delivery, with a focus on AI-led solutions. It will enable closer client engagement, co-innovation, and faster transformation across business domains.
Rajneesh Malviya, Senior Vice President and Head of the Infosys Pune Development Center, shared the news on a professional networking platform. “Thrilled to announce the launch of our new Infosys office in Kharadi, Pune! While this marks another milestone in our expanding office network, this one is particularly special,” he wrote. “It serves as a strategic proximity center for our GCC clients enabling closer collaboration, deeper co-innovation, and stronger partnerships.”
The launch event was attended by several senior leaders from the GCC ecosystem, including Arindam Banerjee, Sudish Lambodara Panicker, Elango Somasundaram, Shweta Pandey, Nidhi Dhanju, and Rakesh Patil. They participated in knowledge-sharing sessions discussing the growing role of GCCs in India.
Malviya also highlighted the efforts of Infosys’ infrastructure team in designing a workplace that merges cutting-edge technology with the artistic and cultural heritage of Maharashtra. “A big shoutout to our incredible infrastructure team for crafting a space that beautifully blends the art and culture of Maharashtra with the legacy of Infosys. The best way to experience it? Come visit and see it for yourself!” he added.
With over 38,000 employees already based in its Hinjawadi campuses, Infosys’ expansion in Kharadi reinforces Pune’s role as a critical technology and innovation hub for the company.
