Infosys expands Mohali development centre with new 3.5 lakh sq ft software facility

Technology investments in North India continue to grow as companies strengthen their regional presence and infrastructure. In a major development, Infosys has announced the expansion of its Mohali Development Centre (DC) with a formal groundbreaking ceremony held at the campus.

As part of the expansion, Infosys will build a new Software Development Block along with supporting facilities. The project will have a built-up area of about 3.5 lakh sq ft and will accommodate about 3,000 employees. The expansion aims to strengthen the company’s ability to design, co-create and deploy AI-led solutions at enterprise scale.

Currently, the Infosys Mohali centre operates with close to 1,000 employees and delivers advanced digital services to global clients. These services support key sectors such as Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Retail and Healthcare.

With the expanded campus, Infosys plans to further strengthen its capabilities in cloud, AI, application development and digital transformation. The move is expected to help the company meet the rising demands of global clients and enable them to unlock AI-driven value at scale.
