Infosys Foundation Launches Rs 200 Crore Initiative for Job Seekers

Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Infosys, has announced the launch of the Infosys Springboard Livelihood Program with a total investment of Rs 200 crore. The initiative aims to help five lakh job seekers in India secure employment by the year 2030.

The program is being implemented through Infosys Springboard, the company’s digital learning platform, and focuses on providing skill development and career advancement beyond traditional classroom education. It is designed to support both graduates and undergraduates in preparing for careers across a range of sectors.

In the current financial year, over 80000 job seekers have already been placed in various industries under this initiative.

The program covers opportunities in both STEM and non-STEM fields. Participants receive training in high-demand areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital marketing, and finance. It also includes essential workplace skills like communication, time management, and interview preparation.

To effectively roll out the program across India, Infosys Foundation has partnered with nearly 20 implementation organisations. These include ICT Academy, Unnati, Nirmaan, Magic Bus, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, Centum, CII Foundation, and NIIT Foundation. These partners are helping curate job opportunities and build structured career pathways for participants.

This livelihood-focused initiative reflects Infosys Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting India’s youth with meaningful employment opportunities and helping bridge the skill gap in the job market.
