India Introduces NamAIste: The World’s First AI-Powered HospitalityGPT Platform

In a moment that blends tradition with cutting-edge innovation, the International Institute of Hotel Management in Kolkata has unveiled a pathbreaking AI solution named NamAIste. Touted as the first generative AI knowledge platform designed solely for the hospitality industry, NamAIste has been brought to life with the technological expertise of Entiovi Technologies.

Far beyond a typical chatbot, NamAIste is a dedicated Large Language Model crafted with the unique needs of the hospitality world in mind. It brings real-time access to global hospitality trends, service protocols, SOPs, and innovation strategies to students, faculty, professionals, and industry leaders alike.

Suborno Bose, chief mentor of IIHM and founder of Indismart Group, called this initiative a “historic” milestone, stating, “AI is the new Google today. We are so happy and fortunate that we have been able to play a leadership role in creating an exclusive HospitalityGPT platform.” He emphasised that NamAIste will transform both hospitality education and operations, enabling professionals to make intelligent, data-backed decisions while improving service delivery.

Initial trials of NamAIste have shown significant improvements in operational efficiency. For instance, room preparation times have reportedly been cut down from 40 minutes to just 18 by using the app-based workflow. From reservations and guest experiences to waste management, NamAIste aims to make every aspect of hospitality more streamlined and intelligent. Bose clarified that the goal is not to replace human effort but to enhance it, driving both productivity and profitability.

Sanjoy Chatterjee, director at Entiovi Technologies, highlighted the platform’s global scope. Built on open-source frameworks and informed by data from 60 countries, NamAIste can answer a question in one language using authentic resources from another. “Imagine a student in Bengal asking about Japanese culinary traditions and getting a detailed reply in Bengali sourced from original Japanese documents,” he illustrated.

The platform will be available for free for the first year, with a professional subscription version to be introduced later. Industry response has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic, seeing this as a pivotal step into the future of hospitality.
