Abhishek previously served as head of brand marketing at HMD Global, where he played an important role in building the company’s brand visibility in a highly competitive smartphone landscape. His work strengthened HMD’s reputation as a trusted and innovation focused brand known for quality and reliability. With a strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends, he shaped communication strategies that connected well with diverse audiences.

He brings more than seventeen years of marketing experience across the technology and mobile sectors. Abhishek has held senior roles at several well known organisations including TECNO Mobile India, Philips Mobiles India, Celkon Impex, Logitech, Micromax Informatics and Samsung India Electronics. At TECNO Mobile India he led brand and communication campaigns that boosted the company’s market presence. His time at Philips Mobiles and Micromax Informatics included leading product launches and creative initiatives that contributed to significant business growth.

Earlier roles at Samsung India Electronics and Logitech helped him strengthen his skills in product strategy, consumer insights and brand storytelling. Across his career he has remained focused on innovation, creativity and meaningful customer connection.

In his new position at HMD Global, Abhishek Ranjan will guide strategic marketing efforts that support digital transformation and narrative driven brand building.
