Hikrobot India Showcases Machine Vision and Mobile Robot Solutions at Automation Expo 2025

Hikrobot India recently participated in the Automation Expo 2025 to present its wide range of Machine Vision and Mobile Robot solutions. The Automation Expo, recognised as Asia’s largest automation technology event for warehousing, logistics, material handling, automation, and supply chain sectors, took place from August 11 to 14, 2025, at BEC, Goregaon, Mumbai.

Hikrobot India’s creatively designed booth was one of the main attractions at the event. The company introduced two major products at the expo, the 3D Laser Profile Sensor and the Smart Code Reader with Liquid Lens.

The 3D Laser Profile Sensor, based on laser triangulation measurement, can output high-frame point clouds, depth images, and intensity images at the micrometre level in real time. It is designed for non-contact, high-precision, online 3D measurement applications across industries such as consumer electronics, lithium batteries, and PCBs. The Hikrobot ID3000 series Smart Code Reader, created for industrial applications, features advanced code reading capabilities and reliable performance. Its features include a built-in deep learning algorithm, high-speed code reading, modular design, IP67 protection rating, and multiple communication protocols.

The ID3000 series has applications in industrial automation, consumer electronics, lithium battery manufacturing, tobacco, medicine, photovoltaics, automobiles, and PCBs. It also supports logistics and warehouse management with high-speed inventory tracking and management. Along with these launches, Hikrobot also displayed 3D cameras, area scan cameras, smart cameras, handheld readers, and other vision components. A key highlight was the SC1000 Smart Camera, loaded with six tools, including pattern match, colour detection, H-counts, logic tools, measurement tools, and basic OCR support.

The Mobile Robots Zone presented the QF series AMR, ideal for pallet handling, and the Tugger AMR, designed for auto tugging of trolleys in internal logistics. The newly launched SC1000 series vision sensor combines the richness of vision detection systems with the simplicity of sensors. With high-precision vision algorithms and AI modules embedded inside, it can solve presence, absence, classification, and detection applications.

Hikrobot also showcased its Machine Vision solutions, including both static and dynamic DWS, along with the QF Series AMR, Tugger AMR, smart cameras, sensors, and accessories.

Commenting on the event, Mr Ashish P. Dhakan, MD and CEO of Prama Hikvision India, said, “The latest Industrial automation trends are helping the cause of sustainability and net zero goals. We have launched the 3D Laser Profile Sensor and Smart Code Reader with Liquid Lens with great fanfare. Automation Expo is one of the leading platforms for showcasing our Machine Vision and Mobile Robot solutions across various verticals. It showcases the latest in smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and sustainable industrial growth.”

The Automation Expo featured live product demonstrations, innovative technology showcases, and knowledge-sharing sessions. It drew participation from key players and visitors across India, bringing together professionals from warehousing, logistics, material handling, automation, and supply chain sectors.

The event concluded successfully with an overwhelming response. It served as a valuable platform for networking, exploring business opportunities, and staying updated with the latest industry trends. The Automation Expo once again proved to be a convergence point for the automation ecosystem.
